I love this. My American friend Mike LaVigne, a devoted product designer and long-time meditator, together with Berlin-based Maker Wolf Jeschonnek, created the fold-up meditation bench UPON.

I had the privilege of testing the bench some months before it went into production just a few days ago and have taken it with me everywhere, even on a hiking trip. But also use it regularly at home. It’s perfect for sitting cross-legged, as well as in kneeling postures with legs under the bench.
The bench folds up completely, is very light and fits into every rucksack. It’s available in two sizes (I use small) and made out of sustainably sourced bamboo or maple wood.
